Employees using Android devices can remove all device management software using the built-in Factory Reset feature. To prevent this, you can configure SureLock to disable the Factory Reset feature altogether on select Android devices.
Steps to Disable Factory Reset For Android Devices
1. On the SureLock Home Screen, tap 5 times to launch the password prompt.
2. Enter the admin password to go to Admin Settings.
3. Tap on SureLock Settings, select Disable Factory Reset and tap Done.
The Factory Data Reset option (in the Backup & Reset submenu of Settings) will no longer respond when tapped. To check out other SureLock for Android features, click here.
