SureMDM has now come up with a new feature where the Nix Agent application permissions can be managed from the console. This feature specifies the permissions that will be visible on the device during the enrollment process for various types of enrollment.
Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to enable permissions that will be visible on the device during the enrollment process for various types of enrollment.
Note: Disabling the permissions associated with the above meta permissions is a critical operation. If you choose to disable them now, enabling a few permissions after enrollment will require physical access to the device.
Prerequisites
- An active SureMDM Account
- This feature is supported on Android devices with SureMDM Agent version >= 27.39.02.
Steps:
- Login to the SureMDM Console.
- Navigate to the Account settings > Device Enrollment Settings > Customize SureMDM Agent Permissions.
- Based on the enrollment type of the device, you could choose the SureMDM permissions that have to be enabled on the device as per your requirement.
- Once the required permissions are enabled, after the device gets enrolled to the console the same can be checked under the SureMDM Permission checklist from the device end.
Conclusion: By following the above steps, you can customize the SureMDM Agent settings as per your requirements.
