Purpose

In Enterprise environments, accurate device identification and network setup are critical for seamless operation and centralized control. The Citizen IP Address Search Utility addresses this need by providing an essential tool to locate the IP address of Citizen printers connected to the local network. This IP address is fundamental for setting up network printing, troubleshooting connectivity, and ensuring the successful enrollment or registration of the printer into any asset or management system.

Prerequisites

Ensure that both the host system (Windows laptop) and the Citizen printer are connected to the same network — preferably through a LAN connection.

  • From the Model Name dropdown, select your printer model.
  • In the Category section, choose the appropriate option related to your printer.
