How to Save SureLock Settings from a Device as a Job in SureMDM

Purpose

This article provides the steps to capture the existing SureLock configuration from a single enrolled device and save it as a reusable Static SureLock Job. This allows administrators to quickly apply the exact same SureLock lockdown settings to other devices or device groups.

Prerequisites

• SureMDM Account access.
• SureLock is installed and configured on the target Android device.
• The device must be online and report its status to SureMDM.

Steps

1. Log in to the SureMDM Console.
2. On the Home screen, locate and select the device whose SureLock settings you want to capture
3. Click the More button (three vertical dots) in the top navigation bar.
4. From the dropdown menu, select SureLock
5. The SureLock Settings (Jobs) screen will open, displaying the device’s current SureLock configuration 
6. On the SureLock Settings (Jobs) screen, locate the toolbar near the top.
7. Click the Save As Job icon
8. The Job Details dialog box will appear,  Enter a Job Name. 
9. Select the desired Save Job To Folder location.
10. Click Save.

The Surelock Settings saved as Job, You can now deploy this Job to any other Android device or group.
