How to Check the Android Management Type (Google Play EMM API or Android Management API) of an Enrolled Device in SureMDM

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to guide administrators in verifying the Android management type of enrolled devices from the SureMDM console. This helps in troubleshooting, policy deployment, and ensuring the correct management framework is applied to the device.

Prerequisites

1. Should have an active SureMDM Account.
2. Android devices to be enrolled in SureMDM
3. Android Enterprise Management to be configured.

Steps

1. Login to SureMDM Console.
2. Navigate to Columns > Grid Columns > Enable “Management Type” > Save
   
   
   
   
3. Once the above column is enabled in SureMDM Device Grid, we can check for the Android Management type that is configured on all the enrolled Android devices:
