How to add OneDrive in SureLock Windows

OneDrive is one of the most popular tools used to share files on Windows devices. And SureLock can be used to lock down the devices for specific applications. There are instances where one needs to lockdown the Windows devices to just OneDrive or along with other applications using SureLock. It can be a little tricky, but we have a solution that would help you achieve this easily.

Purpose

The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to add OneDrive to SureLock Windows.

Prerequisites

Steps

1. Create a batch file with the name Onedrive.bat with the below content and save it on the C drive.

2. The batch file will help OneDrive run or sync at startup.

start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive\OneDrive.exe" /background

3. Add the above-created batch file, .exe, and services related to OneDrive in the SureLock Allowed Application.

Note: Please check Windows Task Manager for.exe and services related to OneDrive.

Once done, the batch file and OneDrive allowed inside SureLock will help admins work, manage, and use the OneDrive application inside the SureLock environment seamlessly.
