How to set the application to a specific page number and activate pagination in SureLock

The admin may want to have many applications on the SureLock home screen which may not accommodate showing all the applications. In such cases, for an improved user experience and easier navigation, pagination is very helpful. Now, SureLock offers a pagination feature on the Surelock home screen that allows the user to differentiate the page and easily access all the Applications. And also, the Applications can be placed in different pages irrespective of the number of Applications.

Purpose

The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to set an Application to a specified page number and turn on pagination in SureLock.

Prerequisites

  • This feature is supported from Surelock version 21.21.05 onwards.
  • Landscape mode works when the device screen orientation is set to Landscape.

Steps

Step 1: Enable Pagination

  1. Launch SureLock and navigate to the Admin settings.
  2. Navigate to Custom layout under display settings.
  3. Now click on the Scroll Direction and then select Horizontal.
  4. Click “Done”.

Step 2: Set the application Page Number

  1. Launch SureLock and navigate to Admin Settings.
  2. Go to Allowed Applications.
  3. Add all the required applications that you want to run inside SureLock.
  4. Click on the Edit option.
  5. Navigate to the Page number section.
  6. Now enter the number on which page the app needs to be placed.
  7. Click “Done”
  8. Applied pagination settings will be visible on the SureLock home screen.
