A custom boot logo for Samsung devices refers to a modified or personalized image or animation that is displayed when the device is powered on or rebooted. By default, Samsung devices come with a manufacturer-specific boot logo or animation that is displayed during the boot-up process. However, users have the option to replace this default boot logo with a custom one of their choice.
Purpose
The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to set up Custom Boot Animation and Custom Shutdown Animation on a Samsung Device.
Prerequisites
- Knox should be enabled.
Steps
- Login to the SureMDM Console.
- Navigate to Jobs > New Job and select the Operating System as Android.
- Now select Surelock Settings job.
- Go to Samsung Knox Settings.
- Now Navigate to Set Custom Boot Animation or Set Custom Shutdown Animation.
- Upload the Animation File and the Sound File.
Note:
- The animation file should be in QMG format.
- The sound file should be in OGG format.
- Now save the settings jobs.
- Go back to the Home tab and select the target device.
- Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
- In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created job and click Apply.
