SureMDM has implemented a feature to move the devices to the Pending Delete state once the device is deleted from the SureMDM web console.

Pending delete is a state where a device is moved from the SureMDM web console in order to release the product licenses.

When an online device from the SureMDM web console is deleted, it is moved to pending delete state, freed up of all the 42Gears product licenses, and then deleted from the SureMDM web console.

When an offline device from the SureMDM web console is deleted, it is also moved to the pending state for the licenses to be freed up. However, since the device is offline SureMDM waits for the device to come online to proceed with licenses freeing up process.

Pending delete state also an option to Force Delete devices Here, selected devices can be forced to be deleted from the SureMDM web console. However, once the device is deleted, other product licenses may or may not be freed up through SureMDM web console.

Note: Devices moved to Pending Delete state cannot be restored back to the SureMDM web console.
