How To Activate SureLock Licenses for Windows Platform.

Licenses of SureMDM, 42Gears UEM solution, include access to these additional products from 42Gears: SureLock and SureVideo. By activating these standalone kiosk products, we can use the full-fledged functionality of the application. 

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide a guide on how to activate SureLock licenses. Using the activation codes, we can activate from the SureMDM Console remotely or from the device end.

Prerequisites

1. To have a SureMDM Account, if you are managing your devices enrolled in the SureMDM console, the device should be Online.
2. Should have SureLock installed on the device 

Steps

Method 1: Step to activate SureLock license on a single Windows device from the device end or if using only SureLock and no SureMDM

1. Launch SureLock on the device > Navigate to SureLock Admin Settings > Activate License and enter the activation code. This would activate SureLock from the trial version to the full version.

Method 2: Step to activate the license of SureLock from SureMDM Console remotely.

1. Login to SureMDM Console.
2. Navigate to Jobs > New Jobs > Windows > SureLock Settings > About SureLock > Enter the activation code and click on Done.
3. Save the Job and https://knowledgebase.42gears.com/article/surefox-for-ios-now-available-for-enterprise-distribution/give the job a name.
4. Apply the SureLock settings job on the devices where SureLock has to be activated to full version.

Note: The device has to be rebooted for the latest settings to be effective.
