Whenever administrators or end users exit the SureLock application for troubleshooting purposes and reboot the device, SureLock will automatically launch using the “Auto-launch Kiosk On Next Reboot” feature.
Purpose
The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to enable “Auto-launch Kiosk On Next Reboot” in the SureLock Settings. This was required because when they troubleshooted the device, they would bring it out of the kiosk. It was a practice for many other customers to reboot the device after troubleshooting.
Prerequisites
- This feature is supported only for standalone SureLock.
Steps
- Launch the SureLock application.
- Navigate to SureLock Settings.
- Enable the Auto-launch Kiosk On Reboot checkbox.
- Select Done
- Click Done again.
