The purpose of this knowledge article is to guide administrators on securing access to SureLock Admin Settings by blocking access after SureLock has loaded and notifying administrators when users attempt to access the Admin Settings. These settings help prevent unauthorized configuration changes while providing visibility into access attempts for enhanced device security and compliance.
Prerequisites
- SureLock configured on the device.
- Access to SureLock Admin Settings
- Access to the SureMDM console.
Steps
- Launch SureLock on the Android device.
- Access SureLock Admin Settings.
- Navigate to SureLock Settings.
- Open Miscellaneous Settings.
- Tap Admin Login Security.
- Enable Admin Login Security.
- Enable Block Admin Access after Loading SureLock.
Note: To access Admin Settings, the device must be rebooted.
During the SureLock loading screen after reboot, tap the screen five times to access the Admin Settings. - Enable Send mail to SureMDM
- Save the configuration changes.
