SureMDM offers an easy and efficient way to track enterprise mobile devices. Sometimes it’s important for the administrator to find the location of their company devices with reference to some landmark on the map. Searching for and scrolling through such landmarks can be very repetitive and complicated. SureMDM now makes this easier with the new geo-tagging feature.
GeoTag allows you to tag your frequently visited locations on the map, which means you don’t have to scroll and scan through the map manually to find these locations. These geotags are saved in your location tracking screen, and just a single click on these tags takes you to a saved location on the map.

The purpose of the article is to provide a guide on steps and procedures for creating a GeoTag within the SureMDM platform and administrators can effectively harness the GeoTag feature to enhance location tracking capabilities.

Steps
1. On SureMDM Home, click Locate.
2. Enable the location from the Device Info if it has not been enabled or Make use of the Location Tracking Job available on the SureMDM Jobs section.
3. On the Location Tracking screen, search or scan through the map and go to the desired location that you would like to tag.
4. Once in the desired location, right-click and select Add GeoTag here.
5. Give a name to the tag and click on Add.
6. The newly created GeoTag will start reflecting under Saved Geo Tags.
7. Now, click on the Saved Geo Tags to go directly to the saved location under that tag.
GeoTags complement SureMDM’s robust location tracking features, providing an effective and efficient solution for managing and monitoring enrolled mobile devices across various operating system platforms.
