SureMDM offers Admins to enroll Android devices easily just by scanning the QR code. This reduces the time consumption of an Admin in enrolling the devices and helps in improved productivity.
Purpose
The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to create a QR code to enroll an android device to the SureMDM console.

Steps
- Login to SureMDM Console.
- Navigate to the Device Enrollment section.
- Click on Create QR Code.
- Enter a Name to set up the QR code.
- Select Android as Platform and Android Enterprise Enrollment as Enrollment Type.
- Click Next.
- Select the Group Name where the devices are to be enrolled.
- Select the Device Name type from the link below.
- Use System Generated Name
- Use IMEI Number
- Use Mac Address
- Use Serial Number
- Set Phone Number
- Set Device Name Manually
- If the Admin is enrolling the device connected over the Mobile Data, check the option Use Mobile Data.
- If the Admin wants to connect to a Wi-Fi SSID directly after the QR code, the same can be configured under Configure Wi-Fi Network.
- The Admin can even Configure Proxy Settings.
- Click Next.
- Click Save.
- The QR code is now generated and users can view it under QR Code Enrollment.
