Purpose
This article explains how to stop users from changing the device language. It helps keep all devices using the same language, makes support easier, and ensures company rules are followed. This is useful for managed or company-owned devices where settings should not be changed by users.
Prerequisites
Supported on Android 9 onwards.
Steps:
1: Go to the profile section from the top navigation bar.
2: Select the option to create a new profile to set up the new profile
3: Select the primary profile after clicking on ‘New Profile.
4. Click on the system settings and under Device functionality search for “Disallow Config Locale” and enable and save the profile and deploy at the device end.
