Administrators will receive alert email notifications at the specified email address whenever the application SureLock is launched and SureLock settings are accessed.
Purpose
The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to enable alerts when SureLock is launched and when SureLock settings are accessed.
Prerequisites
- This feature is available on the device end.
Steps
- Access the SureLock Admin Settings by entering the password.
- Navigate to SureLock Settings.
- Next, navigate to Miscellaneous Settings and select Alert Notifications.
- Select Enable Alert on SureLock Launch.
- Select Enable Alert on SureLock Settings Access.
- Now, in the Notify on Exit Settings, you will find the below options:
- Notify through Mail : When this feature is enabled, whenever the user tries to exit Kiosk Lockdown or SureLock, the same will be notified to the registered Email ID.
- Notify through SureMDM : When this feature is enabled, whenever the user tries to exit Kiosk Lockdown or SureLock, the same will be notified in the SureMDM Console Inbox. When Notify Through SureMDM is enabled, if the user tries to exit SureLock, they will be notified in the SureMDM Console Inbox.
