How to enable Auto Search in SureMDM

The Enable Auto Search option in SureMDM enhances the search experience by automatically displaying results as you type in the search bar. This eliminates the need to manually trigger the search, making device lookup faster and more seamless. 

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to help admins:

  • Instantly view search results without pressing Enter
  • Improve efficiency while locating devices
  • Reduce time spent on repetitive search actions
  • Enhance usability within large device environments

Prerequisites


To have an active SureMDM account

  • To have access to the SureMDM console with appropriate administrative privileges
  • Devices are properly enrolled and visible in the console 

Steps

  1. Login to SureMDM Console
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings > Miscellaneous Settings > Enable Global Search > Apply.




  3. Once the above setting is enabled, navigate to the device grid and try searching for the device. The search output will return results automatically as you type.


Kindly note that the option is available only for the account admin to enable the same.
