Purpose
This article explains how to use the NFCState Run Script to remotely enable, disable, or leave the NFC state unchanged on Device Owner devices running Android 16 and above.
Prerequisites
- The device is enrolled in Device Owner (DO) mode.
- The device is running Android 16 or later.
- The device is online and successfully communicating with the SureMDM server.
- You have administrator access to the SureMDM Console to create and deploy Run Scripts.
Steps
- Login to SureMDM Console.
- Navigate to Jobs > New Jobs > Android > Runscript > Paste the below script:

NFCState(Value)
Values: 0 = don’t care, 1 = always on, 2 = always off
Note: Configure the value based on your requirement.
- Save the Run Script.
- Select the target Device Owner Android devices.
- Deploy the Run Script to the selected devices.
- Verify that the NFC state has been updated on the devices as per the configured value.
