How to enable or disable the SureMDM Agent Removable feature for iOS devices

SureMDM is an easy-to-use iOS and iPadOS MDM solution that ensures that the use of business and BYOD iPhones and iPads is based on the best IT practices in the workplace. SureMDM facilitates easy MDM for iOS devices.

Purpose  

The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to enable or disable the SureMDM Agent Removable feature for iOS devices.

Prerequisites 

• Only iOS 4 and later versions support this feature.

Steps 

1. Log in to the SureMDM Console.
2. Click Profiles > Select iOS/iPadOS > Click Add > Enter the profile name.
3. Click Restriction Profile > Click Apps.
4. The user can remove SureMDM Agent from the device by enabling the “Allow SureMDM Agent Removable” option.
5. The user can disable it by disabling the “Allow SureMDM Agent Removable” option, as shown below.
