SureMDM comes with a feature wherein an admin can enable the SureLock module available inside SureMDM Agent installed on the devices. Admins would not need to install the SureLock application separately on the devices and still use the SureLock features by just installing the SureMDM Agent on the devices, making the process of setting up the devices in Kiosk mode, hassle-free.

There are three ways by which you could activate SureLock inside SureMDM.

a. On the device, open the SureMDM Agent application and enter the SureMDM Agent settings.

b. Navigate to Enable Kiosk Lockdown and select Yes..

a. Login to SureMDM console.

b. Create a run script job with the below mentioned command. Refer to the screenshot below for steps to create a run script job

disableIntegratedSureLock(false)

Note:

i. True in the above command will disable the integrated SureLock on the device.

ii. False in the above command will enable the integrated SureLock on the device.

c. Once done, push the job to the device(s) and the run script command will take effect.

This will get the device running into Kiosk mode with SureLock giving access to only Allowed applications to the end-users. on SureLock Home Screen.

SureLock on devices can easily kick in on the device once the admin pushes SureLock settings on the targetted device(s)

The best way to do this is, by configuring a test device with all the necessary SureLock configurations and creating a SureLock Settings Jobs on SureMDM using the below steps.

a. Login to SureMDM console.

b. Select the device which has been configured and navigate to the SureLock icon available just above the device info panel (on the top-right corner of the SureMDM console.)

c. Click on Save As Job option available at the bottom of the SureLock Settings screen. Enter the Job Name and Save it.

Once done, Go back to SureMDM Home Screen and select the device(s) in the device panel on which you would like SureLock to be launched. SureLock will launch itself on the device with SureLock Settings in effect.
