How to find the DeviceClassID and DeviceInstanceID for the USB devices

Steps

Step 1: To know the DeviceClassID

1. Insert the physical USB devices into the system.
2. Go to DeviceManager. Expand the USB (Universal Serial Bus) controllers.
3. Select the USB device inserted, right-click, and click on Properties.
4. Navigate to the Details.
5. From the Properties, drop down and select the Matching Device ID.

Step 2: To know the DeviceInstanceID

1. Insert the physical USB devices into the system.
2. Go to Device Manager. Expand the USB (Universal Serial Bus) controllers.
3. Select the USB device inserted, right-click, and click on Properties.
4. Navigate to the Details.
5. From the Properties, drop down and select the Device Instance Path.
