Purpose
This article explains how to resolve the issue where allowed website icons appear excessively large in Tabbed Browsing mode within Standalone SureFox.
The expected behavior is to display applications in a clean horizontal grid layout, ensuring better usability and easy navigation.
Prerequisites
Before proceeding, ensure the following:
- You are using Standalone SureFox
- You have access to SureFox Admin Settings
- Tabbed Browsing is already enabled
- The issue is observed specifically in the first tab
Steps
Follow the steps below to correct the icon scaling:
- Launch SureFox Admin Settings
- Navigate to:
Display Settings - Locate the option:
Enable Auto Scaling of URL Icon - Enable (check) this option
- Save the settings
Result
Once enabled:
- Icons will automatically resize based on screen resolution
- Applications will appear in a proper horizontal grid layout
- UI becomes more compact and user-friendly
- Navigation improves significantly, especially on larger screens
