Purpose
To monitor and audit Geo Fence-based job execution on Android devices, SureMDM has introduced support for the Geo Fence Job Report. This report provides information about the jobs applied on devices, including their fence status, associated Geo Fence, and corresponding timestamps, enabling better visibility into location-based automation.
Prerequisites
- Android device enrolled in SureMDM
- SureMDM Agent version 28.58.02 or later installed on the device
- A Geo Fence Job must be created and actively applied to the device
Steps
- Login to the SureMDM Console -> Navigate to Reports
- Click on On Demand Reports -> Select Geo Fence Job Report
- Configure required parameters and click on Request Report
- Click on View Reports to View/Download the report
Expected Results
- The report displays:
- Job applied details on devices
- Fence status (Inside/Outside)
- Selected Geo Fence associated with the job
- Timestamp of job execution
