How to Mute the Notification Sound of the Microphone in SureLock Android

Purpose

The purpose of this knowledge article is to guide administrators on muting the microphone notification sound in SureLock for Android devices. This configuration helps provide a distraction-free user experience in environments where microphone access is required while ensuring the device continues to operate as intended within SureLock.  

Prerequisites

1. SureLock configured on the device.
2. Access to SureLock Admin Settings 
3. Access to SureMDM console.

Steps

1. Launch SureLock on the Android device.
2. Access SureLock Admin Settings.
3. Navigate to SureLock Settings.
4. Check on Volume Settings.
5. Select Set Volume Level
6. Ringtone and Media to be set to 0%
   
   
   
   

7. Click on OK
8. Click on Done
