How to Organize Job Types with Default, Ascending, and Descending Order in SureMDM

Purpose

To organize and quickly locate specific job types while creating a new job, the SureMDM console provides sorting options for static job types. This feature allows administrators to arrange job types based on preference using default, ascending, or descending order.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the SureMDM console
  • Permissions to create jobs
  • Availability of job types under the Jobs section

Steps

Steps to Sort Static Job Types:

  1. Log in to the SureMDM console -> Navigate to Jobs.
  2. Click on New Job -> Select the required Operating System (e.g., Android).
  3. On the Create Job [Android]Select Job Type screen, navigate to the top-right corner.
  4. Click on the Sort icon -> there from the dropdown menu, we can select one of the following options:
    • Default – Displays job types in the system-defined order.
    • Ascending – Sorts job types in alphabetical order (A to Z).
    • Descending – Sorts job types in reverse alphabetical order (Z to A).



Expected Results

  • Job types are rearranged based on the selected sorting option.
  • Users can quickly locate job types using alphabetical sorting.
  • The selected sorting preference is applied instantly on the screen.
