How to reset the passwords of other users through SureMDM

SureMDM offers comprehensive admin user management features through the User Management option. You can use this option to add multiple administrators and customize their permissions by assigning them to groups, functions, or specific features. You can also reset the passwords of other users remotely through SureMDM in case they forget their password or if there’s any other reason they cannot access the console.

Purpose

The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to reset the password of other users through SureMDM.

Prerequisites

  • This feature is only available for Admin users. 

Steps

1. Login to the SureMDM Console.

2. Click on the Settings icon and navigate to the User Management section.

3. Click Users, select the user, tap on the More icon, and select Reset Password.

4. In the Reset Password box, enter New Password and Retype Password.

5. Click on Save, and you will get the notification – New Password saved successfully.
