How to restrict copy-paste on an iOS device managed via SureMDM

Purpose

This article explains how to configure the necessary policies in SureMDM to control and restrict copy-paste behavior on iOS devices, ensuring enhanced data protection while maintaining device usability.

Prerequisites

1. SureMDM Account
2. iOS device to be enrolled to SureMDM

Steps

1. Login to your SureMDM Account
2. Navigate to Navigate to Profiles > New Profile > iOS > Device Restrictions > Configure > Under Functionality tab search for the below setting and Enable the same:
   
   
   
   Note: The same setting can be configured if a default profile has been set already
   
3. Click on Save and apply the profile on the device.
4. Once the profile is applied, the end users will not be able to copy paste sensitive information between managed and unmanaged applications.
