How to restrict users from accessing the Appstore on Mac using SureMDM. 

Admins can use the restriction profile to limit App Store access for end users, regardless of whether they are admins or standard users.

Purpose

The purpose of the article is to provide a guide on how to restrict users from accessing the App Store on Mac using SureMDM.

Steps

  1. Login to SureMDM console using credentials. 
  2. Navigate to Profile and select macOS
  3. Modify an existing or Add a new profile
  4. Click on the Restriction profile and switch to the Apps tab.
  5. Enable Restrict App Store to software updates only.
  1. Save the profile and deploy it to the device to reflect the changes.
