How to Rollback the OS-Updates in Windows using a job in SureMDM .

Purpose

The  administrators can roll back the Windows updates with step-by-step instructions to revert recent Windows operating system updates on managed devices using OS – Updates Uninstallation JOB. This document explains how to use a job within SureMDM to remotely initiate the rollback process, helping resolve issues caused by problematic or incompatible updates. Prerequisites

  1. Uninstallation of patches works on devices that have the patches already installed
  2. This feature is supported on Windows devices with SureMDM Agent version >= 4.98


Steps:

1. Navigate to jobs and select New Job.



2. Navigate to Operating system and select Windows under Desktop Platforms

3: Then select OS Updates Uninstallation [Windows].

4: Select the package you want to uninstall and save the Job and deploy it to the device.
