How to schedule a Job or Profile on SureMDM console

SureMDM offers an easy way to apply for a Job or Profile at a certain scheduled time or date. This feature allows IT Admins to create a Job or Profile and apply the same at a certain time for scheduled days or dates or on scheduled Period time. This option will help IT Admin to apply the jobs or profiles during non-business hours so that it will not impact any productivity

Purpose

The purpose of this knowledge article is to provide a guide on how to schedule a Job or Profile on the SureMDM console.

Steps

Step 1: To push job(s) to a device(s) at a scheduled time.

1.  On SureMDM Web Console, select a device(s).

2.  Click the Apply option from the Device Toolbar.

3.   On Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job(s) from the jobs list.

4.   Select Configure Schedule Time to launch the Schedule Job prompt.

5.   Select an option from Push the job to the device:

Immediately:  The job will run Immediately and this will be selected by default.

Periodically: The job will be scheduled to run at regular intervals.

Schedule Days and Time: The job will be scheduled to run on specified days in a week at the specified time.

Schedule Date and Time: The job will be scheduled to run on a specified date in a month at the specified time. 

6.  Click OK and Apply to complete.

Step 2: How to remove the scheduled job(s) from the device

1.  On SureMDM Web Console, select a device(s).

2.  Click on the Job History option from the Device Toolbar.

3.   On the Selected Devices Job History window, select the job(s) from the jobs list.

4.  Click on the Remove Job option.

The scheduled job will no longer be present on the device now.
