Purpose
The purpose of this knowledge article is to guide administrators on configuring Login Threshold and Daily Login Reports in SureLock. These settings help improve security by restricting repeated failed admin login attempts and provide visibility into login activities through daily reports sent to SureMDM.
Prerequisites
- SureLock configured on the device.
- Access to SureLock Admin Settings
- Access to the SureMDM console.
Steps
- Launch SureLock on the Android device.
- Access SureLock Admin Settings.
- Navigate to SureLock Settings.
- Open Miscellaneous Settings.
- Tap Admin Login Security.
- Enable Admin Login Security.
- Configure the desired action when the threshold is exceeded:
- Block Login Until Reboot
- Block Login for a Specified Time
- In the Login Threshold field, specify the maximum number of failed login attempts allowed before the configured security action is triggered.
- Enable Send Daily Login Report.
- Configure the Send At option and specify the time when the daily login report should be sent to the SureMDM Console.
- Save the configuration changes.
