If you can’t connect or sign in to iCloud, how do you enter your password on the Apple devices?

From iOS 13 onwards due to the security enforcements on the Apple devices, the password field is disabled from focus to enter the password. So, if the user is not connected to his/her iCloud, then they will not be able to log in or access any portal. This made the users very difficult to sign in to any portals such as SureMDM or Astrofarm as the keypad is made invisible in remote view.

To overcome such scenarios, the users can follow the below resolutions.

  1. Use an external keyboard on your machine and enter the password; it might appear like characters are not displayed on the screen but are still going through.

  2. Use the ‘Send Text’ option from the Astrofarm device control page to type the password which will be reflected directly on the password field section on the device

Note: The above steps are not only restricted to fixing password fields but can also be extended to copy a clipboard text from your computer to the device via Astrofarm.
