This feature allows scheduling the device to stay awake during certain time period of certain days. For example, you can use this feature if you have set up a kiosk using an Android device and you want to prevent the device from suspending on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and have the display OFF on weekends.
Steps to schedule Prevent Suspend Mode in SureFox
1. Access SureFox Admin Settings.
2. On the SureFox Admin Settings screen, tap Display Settings.
3. On the Display Settings screen, tap Timeout Settings.
4. On the Timeout Settings screen, enable Prevent Suspend Mode.
5. Tap Schedule Prevent Suspend Mode and enter the following details:
- Start At
- End At
- Days of the week
6. Tap Done to complete.
Steps to schedule Prevent Suspend Mode in SureLock
1. Access SureLock Admin Settings.
2. On the SureLock Admin Settings screen, tap SureLock Settings.
3. On the SureLock Settings screen, tap Timeout Settings.
4. On the Timeout Settings screen, enable Prevent Suspend Mode.
5. Tap Schedule Prevent Suspend Mode and enter the following details:
- Start At
- End At
- Days of the week
6. Tap on Done to complete.
Now, on the specified days and time, the Android device’s screen will not suspend even if it is idle. This means the deployed device does not require constant manual checks and interference to keep it awake.
